2010-02-08 | [fleXive] 3.1 Beta 2 released

[fleXive] 3.1 represents a major shift of focus from a universal JavaEE framework towards a next-generation content repository.

This second beta release of version 3.1 contains 100+ bugfixes since the first beta. While there are still some rough edges, the feature set for 3.1 is mostly complete. This includes full GUI lock support, PostgreSQL support, better scalability for the content storage, and much more.


New and improved features since Beta 1:

  • PostgreSQL support
  • GUI support for locking
  • Experimental division import/export (allows seamless migration between database vendors)
  • Better support for testing [fleXive] applications built with Apache Maven
  • Many bugfixes and performance improvements
